Undergraduate Course Extensions

In the UC-HRM program, all courses are individualized-study, so students have the flexibility to determine their own time lines for completion within their six-month course contract period. Students who find themselves running short of time may extend the course contract by following the undergraduate course extension procedures listed in the AU Calendar Extension Policy page.

Each individualized-study course extension is for a two-month period. Students may request up to three two-month extensions.

Note that the deadline to apply for a course extension is one month prior to the course contract end date! Requests for second and third extensions must be received by the Office of the Registrar a minimum of one month before the expiry of the previous extension.

Contact the HRM Student Services Coordinator for more information on course extensions.

Graduate Students: note that the procedures and costs of extensions for HRM graduate courses differ from undergraduate extension policy discussed on this page. For graduate extension information, please see the policy page here.
